Notice of Participation in the Pre-departure Training Organized by the “Safe Study Abroad” Services of Ministry of Education (Taiyuan, Shanxi)

Relevant Subunits,
As per the Document No. 1129 [2019] issued by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of Ministry of Education (MOE), MOE will come to TYUT on May 25 and 26, 2019 to conduct the “Safe Study Abroad” Pre-departure Training for personnel in Shanxi who plan to study abroad in 2019. As the co-organizer of the pre-departure training, TYUT hereby issues the notice on related matters as follows:

I. Training Time

May 25 (Saturday) 8:00-17:30
May 26 (Sunday) 9:00-11:00

II. Training Venue

The meeting room on the 3rd floor of Sixian Building (Main Teaching Building) at the Yingxi Campus of TYUT.

IV. Trainees

1. Senior research fellows, visiting scholars, young backbone teachers of the 2019 state sponsored study abroad programs, postgraduates of the 2019 state sponsored study abroad programs for high-level universities, excellent undergraduates recruited in the 2019 international exchange programs, and personnel of the study abroad programs supported with Shanxi provincial public fund shall attend the training. The name list of the trainees will be reported to the Study Abroad Service Center of MOE. Failure in attending the training will affect the processing of dispatchment formalities.
2. Those who plan to apply for the 2019 and 2020 state sponsored study abroad programs for senior research fellows and visiting scholars or local cooperation programs or state sponsored programs for young backbone teachers or state sponsored study abroad programs for postgraduates of high-level universities or the international exchange programs for excellent undergraduates or the study abroad programs supported with provincial public fund or studying abroad at one’s own expenses (including those who have received a full scholarship) are also requested to attend the training.
3. The trainees include also the heads and working staff of the state sponsored postgraduate study abroad programs of all colleges and national laboratories, relevant personnel of graduate school and academic affairs division as well as other teachers and students who are interested in the training.
4. Those from various colleges of TYUT who plan to study abroad at public or own expenses and any teachers or students who are interested in the training.
V. Training Requirements

1. Trainees are requested to sign in 30 minutes in advance, and the sign-in list will be sent to the Study Abroad Service Center of MOE;
2. Please observe the order in the training. Please turn off your phone or adjust it to the vibration mode.
