On the afternoon of September 28, TYUT held a pre-departure mobilization meeting for the “new-era ‘double first-class’ university administration internationalization training team. TYUT Party Committee Secretary Wu Yucheng chaired the meeting; and all the members of the training team and the head of the International Cooperation Division attended the meeting.

Wu Yucheng put high expectations and specific requirements to the 24 members of the training team who were going to study in the United States. He pointed out that it is an important part of TYUT’s international development strategy to raise the internationalization concept, vision and administration of excellent middle-ranking young and middle-aged cadres. He urged all the members of the training team to have clear political stance, strictly observe the disciplines, enhance their motivation and enthusiasm for learning and exchange in connection with their own work and learn about valuable foreign international administration experience while showing the positive mental outlook of TYUT cadres and promoting the image of TYUT.

The head of the International Cooperation Division introduced relevant policies, foreign affairs disciplines, the background and overview of the training, as well as the dos and don’ts for the training in the United States; and put forward specific requirements for the training summary report.

The theme of the training is “new-era ‘double first-class’ university administration internationalization”. The training members are administrators of TYUT responsible for league and student management. They will go to Rutgers University and University of California, Los Angeles for a 21-day training.
