As the theme-focused education activity of “remaining true to our original aspiration and keeping our mission firmly in mind” was being carried out fully in TYUT, the responsible persons of International Cooperation Division and College of International Education Exchange went to Chongqing University (CQU) to conduct a special survey on internationalization on October 10.

During the survey, the persons in charge of the Division of International Cooperation and Exchange and the International School of CQU introduced in detail their efforts to promote internationalization and improve the excellence of international education, including their priorities, highlights and outstanding issues for international cooperation and exchanges in the past five years, and their future work plans etc. Representatives of TYUT exchanged with their counterparts the practices, experience and ideas on institutional setup, team building, internationalization evaluation, informatization of foreign exchange work, recruitment and management of international students etc. 

Representatives of TYUT thanked their CQU hosts for taking the time to share their precious experience in their busy schedule for preparing for the celebration of CQU’s anniversary, and commented that CQU, having overcome unfavorable conditions such as its interior geographic location, short of manpower and heavy workload etc., built a foreign affairs working team, which have strong combat capability and are united as one and full of vitality, and created a new situation in the internationalization of CQU. And in the future, TYUT would further increase exchanges and mutual learning with CQU and strive to write a new chapter on internationalization in the construction of the “double first-class” university.
