Notice on Organizing Registration for TYUT’s Technical Training Mission to Australia

Relevant Subunits,

 

As per the “Notice on Issuing the 2019 Government Sponsored Overseas (Cross-border) Training Plans” (SBFEA [2019] No. 23) issued by Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs (SBFEA), TYUT’s application for the 2019 training program(s) has been approved. TYUT plans, therefore, to send a mission consisting of research and teaching personnel related to the green, safe and efficient mining of coal resources and the protection of mine geological environment, to Australia to attend specialized technical trainings and learn Australia’s advanced experience in mining, safety and geological engineering, as well as its new methods and technologies in processing mineral products which ensure high production and efficiency, and are safe and environmentally friendly. We hereby notify relevant matters as follows:

 

  1. As directed by TYUT administration, members of the mission should be young academic backbones and/or academic leaders in disciplines related to the training program, with the titleship of professor or associate professor (with PhD); and should be able to communicate in English. They should be influential figures in their research field, and their research results can help promote the development of their discipline.

  2. According to the requirements of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, members of the mission shall be, in principle, no more than 55 years old (i.e., born after October 1, 1965);

  3. The training mission of TYUT will include 8 people and stay in Australia for a total of 21 days;

  4. After the visit, the mission and its members shall submit a written training summary (6,000 words) and report at the university level.

     

All relevant subunits are requested to organize the registration in accordance with the above requirements and submit the registration form to Office G208 of International Cooperation Division before May 10, 2019. The selection result will be announced after being reviewed by TYUT administration.
