The “Safe Study Abroad” Services of Ministry of Education advises those studying abroad to rationally arrange their time
Editor:International Cooperation Division .January.28.2020 125

Given the current development of the novel coronavirus epidemic and the immigration control measures imposed by some regions and countries, the “Safe Study Abroad” Services of Ministry of Education advises the students and scholars who plan to travel abroad in the near future to reasonably schedule their time.

If there is no urgent need, they are advised to postpone their trip abroad. Those who are going abroad should learn about the entry regulations of the destination country and region in advance and arrive at the port of departure early enough to go through mandatory checks and inspections. Anyone who runs acute respiratory infection symptoms such as fever, cough and breathing difficulty etc. should immediately stop traveling, seek medical treatment in time and truthfully reveal the information about his or her itinerary and transportation means to relevant administrative personnel so that relevant departments can quickly start their screening procedures.

During the epidemic prevention and control period, any overseas student who needs assistance on visa, passport or customs clearance related affairs may call 010-66265110, the 24-hour duty number of National Immigration Administration any time. Email: gjymgljmhwz@nia.gov.cn.
