On February 5, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region announced the suspension of immigration services at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and the Ocean Terminal with immediate effect. The Government will impose a 14-day mandatory quarantine on all the people (including Hong Kong residents, Mainland residents and other passengers) entering Hong Kong from the Mainland.
The Exit-Entry Administration of the People’s Republic of China reminds all those entering and leaving the country to pay close attention to the changes in the entry and exit restrictions of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and arrange their exit plans with due care. If one has to go to Hong Kong for urgent matters, he or she should learn about the current entry control regulations of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and make preparations in advance so as to avoid unnecessary losses.
